In the field of natural gas reservoir exploration, accurate analysis of anisotropic characteristics of seismic response and high-precision fracture prediction are the key to improve development efficiency. Therefore, an aniso‐tropic characteristics of seismic response and fracture prediction model of natural gas reservoir is proposed. Based on multi-source data such as seismic, well logging and geological exploration, the weighted average fusion strategy was used to realize in-depth data integration, providing a data foundation for subsequent analysis. The acoustic elas‐tic stiffness of seismic wave in natural gas reservoir media was calculated. Combined with iterative operation tech‐nology, the seismic data of reservoir surface detection were dynamically loaded into multi-round simulated source signals, and a seismic wave field propagation equation containing surface multiples was constructed to generate snap‐shots of seismic wave field. Under the strict boundary conditions of stress and displacement continuity, the analytical expressions of the incidence and transmission coefficients of seismic waves at the elastic interface were systematical‐ly derived. For reservoir medium models with different fracture types, the velocity and amplitude characteristics of seismic responses were quantified by fitting anisotropic velocity functions, and the anisotropic characteristics of seis‐mic responses were extracted. On this basis, the anisotropic characteristics were taken as key inversion parameters, and a fracture prediction model was constructed combined with optimized pre-stack gather data to realize accurate prediction of fracture density. Engineering case verifications show that the proposed method exhibits excellent perfor‐mance in natural gas reservoir analysis. The calculation deviation of anisotropic characteristic parameters is less than 2.0, and the average error of fracture density prediction is only 2.1%, which fully verifies its scientificity and practicability, and provides an efficient and accurate technical solution for natural gas reservoir exploration.
