Disaster risk assessment plays a core role in earthquake emergency management, with vulnerability stud‐ies being a critical component. Under the background of earthquake disaster in Baoji City, this study constructed a set of systematic vulnerability index evaluation system from three dimensions of socio-economic conditions, physical infrastructure, and geological features. ANP was used to determine the weight of each index, and the average vulner‐ability model is used to simulate the distribution of earthquake disaster vulnerability in Baoji City under different in‐tensities. Combined with the geographic detector, the interactive influence detection was carried out. Key findings include: The comprehensive vulnerability of earthquake disaster in Baoji City presents the spatial pattern of "high in the central area, followed by the southern and northern regions". The central urban area has become a high-vul‐nerability zone due to the superposition of multiple factors. As seismic intensity increases, extremely high-vulnera‐bility zones expand outward from fault zones, while low-vulnerability areas gradually shrink. Critical explanatory variables are fracture buffer zones, geological lithology, terrain gradients, and population density. The interaction be‐tween the fault buffer zone and the geological lithology and topographic slope is significant. The superposition effect of geological environmental factors is the core mechanism driving the spatial differentiation of earthquake disaster vulnerability in Baoji City.
